Christian Fortner

After experiencing the life-changing power of music in high school, Christian Fortner began a journey of musical creation with one purpose in mind: to help others experience music in the way he did. He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Theory & Composition, where he studied under the direction of Dr. Bernie Scherr. Christian has worked with a variety of ensembles in creating original music, all the way from 2-part voicings to college-level works. His music and arrangements have been performed across the United States, including the Texas Music Educators Association and National American Choral Directors Association conventions. Christian lives in Abilene, Texas with his wife Kara and their mini Aussie, Lady.
