BL669_THE_GLASGOW_HOOT - Courtney
With text from Bert Stratton, Vicki Courtney sets the stage for a rollicking description of a Scottish dance. Just add the optional fiddle/violin and let the guys have fun!

BL670_I’D_LIKE_TO_BE_A_LIGHT_HOUSE - Franklin
Glenda Franklin weaves the functions and history of the venerable lighthouse into this full-sounding choral for TB voices. A picture is painted for the audience with words like "mystery'," "history," "sentry," "beacon," etc. Great ranges for the guys.

BL671_OLD_PAINT - Beery
Drawing on a rich history of American folk songs that originate with cowboys, Lon Beery has combined "I Ride an Old Paint" with "Good-bye, Old Paint," both songs about a cowboy and his horse. The audience and chorus will become acquainted with some cowboy slang, and the only thing missing will be the camp fire.

BL672_GOOD_KING_WENCESLAS - Schram
During the telling of this classic carol about a king who gives to the poor one winter, Ruth Schram mixes the use of soloists and word painting to help the audience experience the cold winds and the conversations between the good king and his loyal page. A wonderful holiday selection for the TB chorus.

BL673_DOWN_HOME_GALS - Rentz
Earlene Rentz draws on American and Jamaican folk songs in this parade of damsels. The TTB chorus will reminisce about Susanna, Liza Jane, Polly, Lou, and Mary Ann to the delight of any audience.

BL674_A_FULL_SHEET_AND_ A_FLOWING_SEA -
This exciting sea chantey romanticizes sea adventures, as the sailors heave on the sails with a brisk wind at their backs! There is even a legato, cantabile section featuring a "home sick sailor." Great solo opportunity!
