Debra Siebert
Debra Siebert holds a D.M.A. in Vocal Performance from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, an M.M. from Baylor University and a B.M from Brigham Young University where she also studied piano performance and conducting. Debra has appeared on opera stages across the US and abroad as a Mezzo-Soprano. She also participates in major symphony chorus's both as a choir member and soloist. Her education and community service span all ages; she has published media music educational materials for young children, and started a flourishing non-profit organization offering performing arts opportunities for children and adults. Dr. Siebert taught adjunct at UNLV in the voice department, and also has held choir director positions in secondary education for several years. Her diverse professional appointments have always kept her composing and arranging music. Her musical creativity started in the home as a young child, and has continued with her husband and four children who are all vocalists. Her family has a published album of her sacred hymn arrangements.
