Jordan Ricks
Jordan Ricks is a teacher, composer, pianist, conductor, and church musician in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sacred Music from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, a Master of Music in music composition from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, and Principal Certification from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. He frequently appears as a clinician and adjudicator across Texas, and choirs under his direction consistently receive superior ratings at contests. He was recently recognized as Exemplar Educator of the Year. In addition to teaching middle school choir in Northwest Independent School District, he serves as the music director for First United Methodist Church in Colleyville, TX, where his compositions and arrangements are frequently sung in worship.
