David Teas is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where he studied music composition and theory with Larry Barnes and Reed Holmes. After completing his bachelor's degree, he attended graduate school at Bowling Green State University in Ohio where he studied music composition with professors Donald Wilson, William Lake and the inimitable Wallace DePue. His compositions range from works for choir, band, orchestra, strings, piano and organ, as well as small ensemble and solo works.
